Leed for Homes and Green Point RaterBuild Green - It's our chance to be responsible to our environment.

A Green Building is environmentally responsible and resourcefully efficient throughout it's entire life-cylce; Green Buildings are more Durable, Healthy, Comfortable, & Efficient.

LEED for Homes and Green Point Rated are voluntary Green Building rating systems for single and multi-family, affordable and market-rate housing.

The GreenPoint Rated label is the mark of quality for Green home construction. It is a recognizable, independent seal of approval that verifies a home has been built or remodeled according to proven green standards.

LEED for Homes promotes the design and construction of high-performance, energy efficient, resourceful, and healthy homes. A home that achieves LEED certification has been designed to be more heatlhy, durable, comforable and uses 20-60% less energy than a home built to code.

Our on-staff Green Rater brings the experience from the 'Pilot Stage' of LEED for Homes.

So Cal HERS Raters verified the very first LEED for Homes Platinum certified house in the United States, a modern modular pre-fab home designed by Ray Kappe and built by (Steve Glenn) LivingHomes.

So Cal HERS Raters also verified Vista Dunes in La Quinta, CA which became the First Platinum Level LEED for Homes Certified Multi-Family development in the United States.
